The Chitocure Whitening Shampoo is made using a

exclusive Chitosan enriched formula. The blend of Chitosan,

natural oils and vitamins will whiten your pet’s coat without

using any bleach or harsh chemicals. Chitosan is not well

known in the United States, but it is an ingredient that has

been in use in Asia for over 20 years because of its unique

natural properties. Chitosan is a natural extract from

shellfish and is used in a large variety of applications, from

food, nutritional supplements, cosmetics and even in

agriculture. The addition of Chitosan to our products is what

sets the Chitocure line of pet care products apart. Chitosan is

naturally antibacterial, antifungal, hypoallergenic and

biodegradable. Chitosan has a strong positive charge that

causes it to attach to dirt allowing the dirt to be washed away

easily and cleanly. The special blend of Chitosan and other

natural ingredients have created a hypoallergenic formula

that not only whitens, but also moisturizes the skin using a

blend of natural oils. The strong positive charge of Chitosan

makes it bind to the negatively charged hair and skin

creating a neutral surface that prevents static and tangling.

Because Chitosan adheres to the skin and coat, your pet will

continue to reap the benefits of Chitosan even after the

bath. What you end up with is an easily manageable, clean,
